George Metcalfe Wigglesworth (1889-1974) was a farmer from Gadsby, Alberta serving, wounded and decorated in the 187 & 10 Bn. Canadian Infantry during the 1914-18 War . He was later butcher in Halkirk, Alberta. Born in Embsay, Yorkshire he emigrated from Leeds. This is a compilation of memories of him, his letters including one during the war and a selection of photographs originally all published as a booklet. |
